last night left me so knackered i couldn't tell cervantes from armendariz at work, so i came home.
i slept this afternoon and it wasn't enough, & decided to skip chorus rehearsal tonight in favor of lounging. kept the tv off and made chicken smothered in salsa con queso and steamed green beans (seven net carbs). then i read The Crystal Cave to C while he fixed tomorrow's lunch. i forgot how good it is.
i'm losing about half a pound a day; and the Harvard nutrition center just presented a highly controlled study ( all participants were supplied with a full day of meals and snacks every day for the duration) that shows that you can eat 300 more calories a day on a low carb regimen than the heart association diet, and come out with the same cholesterol and lose more weight. Now they will have to go a step further and do it entirely inside a lab so that everyone can get the same amount of exercise and they can monitor cheating.
