Did first training session on Thursday. 4pm is a good time, place was getting busy as I was leaving at 5.
Warmups are familiar yoga moves. Unclear if selected because of my experience or coincidence. (I suspect I wasn't supposed to get the bridge immediately; difference is that it's a dynamic move instead of lift and hold.)
Currently working on machines to build up to doing less-stable lifts
Final cardio is punching a reflex bag. Hardest adjustment is to hit at the head level instead of center of mass (paired with keeping your hands near your face). Hitting things feels great, need to look into Seven Star in a few months.
App-based workout tracking is nice
Favorite quote of the day: "let's do butt stuff in the basement" (studio is below st level). I told them I'd buy the t-shirt
