The Yarn Harlot's new granddaughter died suddenly. the post is just above this one, featuring a beautiful picture of Steph's hugely pregnant daughter with her husband and son, followed by pictures of all the beautiful finished things that she had knit. knit with her own handspun. embroidered with flowers.

i wept.

when knitting is your primary comfort, how do you pick up the needles again when they make you think about what you knit for the past few months? i am horrified and so very very sorry for Steph and her family.
