You have probably seen this by now. I am curious what sort of questions you'll ask...(or not)
This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you. Or not.

Date: 2004-11-13 06:53 pm (UTC)my wedding anniversary is March 15, 1998, which happens to be the same month and day that three years earlier i first kissed him.
i am both the youngest of four, and an only child. two brothers, Douglas (45) and Bill (44), and a sister Angela (42) are my mom's kids by her first husband (deceased, cancer) and i'm my dad's only. but Dad is husband #1's younger brother. so the sibs are halfs and cousins too. and Dad is eleven years younger than Mom. my brothers took me to the first movie i can remember seeing in the theater (Star Wars) and first put science fiction and fantasy books into my hot little hands. the days of abject worship have passed, but they're still my favorite people - our communication may be sporadic, but when we do see each other it's like it was yesterday. i adore them.

Date: 2004-11-13 07:18 pm (UTC)i'm at my happiest when i'm acquiring new skills and discovering, doesn't matter what it is. i thrive on the process.
i am also fulfilled by making things. it can be as tangible as a Habitat house, or as fleeting as a performance. i am especially satisfied by making usefulness or pleasure.
my sister and mother point out that i often learn how to do something, do it once, well, and move on to another new thing. like i've made -one- braided rug. and that thing is almost always a gift for someone else.
so i'd like to take workshops (and i say workshops because while i enjoy lectures and respond well to them, i am also quite kinesthetic) and do research and have a big work loft full of art and craft gear with a small stage and a forge and an industrial kitchen and some great computers and books everywhere. with my little stage i would indulge in all aspects of theatre, carpentry and electricity and sewing and painting and acting and directing. plus puppetry, but not scary scary marionettes. and i think i would do some adaptation, but not straight playwriting - i'm more driven to share and nurture stories than create them.
