yesterday was this nonstop run of work, phone calls, ADC meeting, chorus phone calls, personal phone calls, another round of scone testing, and finally a little computer time. i think there was some quilting before the meeting. and a few minutes of Stargate. totally rewarding.

i feel great about where we're heading with this concert and planning for the next one. and i love these people. that meeting is a bright spot in my month, and rehearsal looks to be a highlight of every week. i <3 Richard. i'm still kind of afraid of the section leader thing, but i'm running with it as best i can.

this version of the scones has more splenda, vanilla, cinnamon, and dried cherries. the cherries are killer, but i've got to find a cheaper source than bulk foods at Larry's. i think i need to add a little almond extract back in next time. mmmmcherry almond.

and i <3 my friends. contrary to the popular thought of the day , i'm not sure there's much in my head that can't be fixed by talking it out.
