temptation at 600sq ft

ironymaideni'm on Parsifal so that i can lounge on the couch.
i just realized that the story C was working on last is open on the desktop. i'm not looking (except for the part that i took in when i first looked at it beccause i find it impossible not to absorb printed material on first contact) i'm not allowed to read them without permission, and right now part of me very much wants to rifle through the hard drive. looks like a straight-ahead fantasy thing. too bad, his best stuff's modern, IMHO.
we have this unfortunate habit of looking over the other's shoulder at odd moments. for example, the other night i caught an IM session with his units about my birthday present (and if i interpreted correctly, i will need a big screen tv and perhaps a bullwhip to go with it). so, no surprises. either we need a bigger place, or noisy shoes.
