Mobile clients

iOS users, do you have a favored method for mobile posting? Do you do it at all?

So far I find the official app to be buggy and crashy and poorly maintained. I like the mobile site quite a bit, but the navigation is a bit unintuitive and I haven't figured out how to select userpics.
My needs are pretty simple (I never use the rich text editor): userpics, privacy, tags, my reading filters. Is there anything else out there? Is android better?

I've just started back into LJ land, but found no troubles with the official app yet. Are they the sorts of things that only manifest when one wants to do something complicated, or have I just been lucky so far?
