Told mostly through Skype, email, chat, and Facebook, these two losers have been married for seven years and can't last five months living long distance. Good acting, cool use of media, some well-done sex scenes, bonus points for facial hair on our hero. The whole thing is in the trailer, you can just watch that.
Met Market's ready-made food is truly exceptional. Had a lovely shrimp fresh roll and picked up some very tasty house-made gf granola.
The story of my death
It was supposedly about Casanova hanging out with Dracula. The cinematography was terrible (so grainy) and it was ridiculously slow. I was glad to at least learn an alternate method for eating pomegranate from one of the many interminable eating scenes. After we watched Casanova take a shit (complete with grunting) and wash his ass, I was done.

Documentary about a young woman in Illinois who helps coordinate protests and revolutionaries in Syria. Really she was a framing device for the stories about what is happening on the ground in Syria. Fuck the Bush regime for ruining intervention from the US for the next 20 years. Because we should be helping them and we can't. So much devastation, so many people dead, and they're alone.
Muse of Fire
A doc that attempts to examine why we love and fear Shakespeare. They interviewed awesome people, but were definitely actors and not documentarians. I enjoyed watching it but I wish someone more capable had shaped their footage into a better film. I am, however, extremely excited to go to their website for the uncut interviews when the festival is over. They talked to everyone from Peter Brook to Tom Hiddleston. (Should be somewhere on shakespearefilm.com but my phone is choking on the page.)
Borgman
A creepy/funny Dutch fable about what happens when a trickster crosses paths with a highly privileged family. I suspect this film is grounded in a folklore that I don't know, but even without that background I enjoyed watching the mayhem. Don't be mean to homeless people, kids.
