i'm mostly a hater. i would be happier if everyone kept the replies out of their Twitter digest. i would be happiest if Twitter were an addition to writing posts, rather than the substitute it is becoming.

indeed. my sense is that twitter is even more of an attention-gnawer than facebook. but it seems to not be as widely adopted, at least in my circles.
