ironymaideni tried to shave my legs but i needed a new blade so i did the left badly and gave up.
i started floating worlds by cecilia holland today and i'm a couple hundred pages in and enjoying it. kim stanley robinson calls it "a neglected masterpiece" but i'm not holding that against it.
figured out that polymer clay will bond with warhammer guys but the bases can't take the 275 oven, and neither can dark eldar pointy bits
C abandoned me to play with boys on saturday (they had lunch together and everything) and he didn't puke the next day. i am fated to get sick after i go out, even if it is just a movie.
i shopped. i am sitting on my floor model $160 chair that i got for 60 cause it was assembled. suckers. i made the mistake of going to ikea on a saturday at back to school time. place was mobbed and they were out of everything.
tibet fest was totally an excuse for vendors to exploit overeducated underinformed liberals. i heard the one guy talking about how the jewelry he was selling came from mexico. come on...
i went to the great wall mall and it had the best people watching, especially the folks lined up for free chi alignment. geoducks look like uncircumsized penises with clamshells rubber banded around them. i found pearl sake! and those disposable empty teabags. uwajimaya kiss my ass.
still don't have the peer-to-peer working, and i dunno if it's the hardware or some blindingly simple thing i've missed. meanwhile i have this crossover cable. at least it's a nice shade of yellow.
moved the bedroom around. feels great. we have to rent a truck to get the bed frame, but now it will fit when we have it.
doug called while we were out yesterday, thanking me for the birthday card. must call back.
