it's so decadent to curl up in bed at the end of the day with the laptop. i get to post *and* wind down beside C while he reads a bit.

lovely day today with friends, food, and free-ranging conversation. of course, if we were eating, then we were talking about food that we weren't eating. (and talking about egg candling, establishing secret identities, disposing of bodies, how to hijack an airplane with knitting needles...good thing gitmo is closing.) i sent tea to a better home, and had too many ginger cat cookies.

once the house emptied out (thanks to hottipper markbourne) i was able to show C all of Sita Sings the Blues. really, the whole thing is streaming online right now. high quality versions will start being available March 7.

I always thought it would be easy to do with knitting needles (can one say that? Am I on a list now?) and that really, pens and pencils would work equally well.
