just happy to see me

while i was waiting for the bus today, a pretty tough-looking white guy walked up to the stop. okay, he was trying to look tough, with close cropped hair and beard, and wannabe rapper sweats and shoes.

he looks all grim and cool and reaches into his pocket for his pack of smokes.

and then a ferret head pops out of the pocket. he's trying to casually put the little dude back, but in short order it's wiggling everywhere and he has to let it out on top of the newspaper boxes so his hands are free for the cigarette.

i think i saw that guy, or at least that ferret, walking on broadway yesterday or the day before. Sucker gets around.
