I love how the mouths mostly look angry. :D Been staring at one of those ads for all of last week, appreciating the warning and the fact that most of the people on the 240 speaking loudly on their phone seem to exclusively speak Spanish.
on my route, the calls always seem to be personal finance stuff in english that i really don't want to hear...people covering overdrafts, trying to pay their taxes, etc.
i was surprised that they were monolingual since the "Ride Right" posters aren't.
We have something similar on the Minneapolis buses. Ours have very specific pointers about what is and isn't appropriate phone use while on the bus.
I can't count the number of times I've watched people sitting directly under the signs and gabbing loudly throughout their entire rides. To be fair, some of these folks probably can't read english, but I'm sure the majority can.
I'm not the type to call someone out on this, but sometimes I wish I were.
