i've never been to Texas. i had a year long totally fucked up relationship in high school...mostly fucked by the baggage that came with the boy and his mother from Texas. W, Enron, petrolium PACs. it's symbolic of evil in America for me.

oh, and repression. did i mention that this boyfriend never had a school sex ed class because it was at the same time as band? Texas is a state that lets you skip sex ed - or assumes that anyone who's in band doesn't need it. apparently there are a lot of women there who need help.

People from Texas are strange. Moving out of it is probably the best thing one of my grandmothers ever did. ;)

I hadn't heard of that trial. Oy. The case sounds as bad as that one over the legality of gay sex. Hopefully it'll end the same way.
