nothing but blue skies in Colorado until sometime during our last night, when Seattle's storm front arrived. it was about 70F all weekend (except for the 20F on top of Pikes Peak), and then near-freezing this morning as we left. more photos on Flickr.

Once upon a time in a prior life (1991?), there was the local cafe there in downtown Castle Rock. The owner guy was straight with a wife but fascinated in pink flamingos....REALLY FASCINATED. From the main drag (and probably from 5 miles away) you could see this place. ....and the food was good, but alas it is no more.
