the travel office at My Corporate Masters is doing a contest and drawing for some travel vouchers as a promotion. i started to fill out the form, but i stopped dead at
10. Introduce yourself to someone you do not know who is in another group, either in your office or in a different office...

i don't want it *that* much. OTOH, i expect that the number of people here who complete the survey will be very small...

Does it have to be someone from your company? I'm sure you can find someone you don't know at chorus. What verification do they ask for that you actually completed such a step?

XD Ya know, in your position, I would totally walk up to a random person and say that. But, I'm an odd duck at best.

Good luck with finding a loophole! There must be one somewhere...

If you're single, unattached, and shopping it's really a great opportunity to completely screw up your life, or start it, depending on the long term outcome of course.

Pick that one person who for whatever reason intrigues you because they're (fill in the blank) [cute|smart|sexy|goth|tall|short|rich|conscious|breathing] and both knock an item off the list AND maybe find a bit of magic.

In fact, that works if you're only interested in making friends with interesting people.

How do they know whether you know the person you introduce yourself to?

"Hi, I'm Jennifer. We already know each other, but for purposes of the travel contest, could you pretend you don't for a moment?"
