yesterday brought news of SciFi developing a Diamond Age miniseries.
now HBO is doing A Song of Ice and Fire. a season a book, which is about right. except that the press release gets the series name wrong. fear.

Date: 2007-01-17 06:25 pm (UTC)since the focus of Diamond Age is for everything to look like it's *not* high tech, it all comes from a rental warehouse. even the cityscapes wouldn't be much of a push on a backlot. much smaller effects budget.
