ironymaidenthe following is an annual list compiled by my friend E (of the headshot card on my fridge, for those who have noted it.) i thought i would share. it is especially important to point out that this is not my list since i am not a boy, i do not have nipple rings, and i have not met Vaclav Havel.
Ok, so you're new to this email and wondering what it's all about.
Sometime in the 90's Michael Moore had a little show on the air
called TV Nation, as a much younger angrier boy (yes I used to be
angrier) I watched the show and was appalled by injustices and
whatnot. However, during his Christmas episode he spoofed the popular
and depressing lists of "People we've lost this past year". His list
was of people you may have forgotten, but have not yet passed on. Now
that Michael has gone on to bigger and better things, I've decided to
keep the idea alive and every New Years Day I send out my own list of
the Not Dead. Each of the people listed have had their time in the
sun, for more of them the fame and recognition has passed away, but
they haven't. So please read, enjoy and remember.
