I am on the bus and have been for almost one and a half hours. I hate football today.

pike street turned into a river...which i forded across with a few other brave ( and now wet ) souls.

then upon catching a relatively empty bus waited an hour to get onto aurora...which had decided to become a lake around the mercer overpass.

southbound traffic was backed up to greenwood.

It took me an hour and a quarter to get three miles. Three lanes of 15th were flooded.

The only thing I don't miss about living in Seattle is the traffic.

I always hate the fact that sports traffic for some reason gets fucking right of way. They decided to go to the game, as part of that they should accept the fact that it's going to take a long amount of time for all the idiots they are with to get out of the stadium rather than backing up the rest of teh f-ing city so the sports idiots can get home a little earlier.

oh, this was getting IN to the stadium. i was on the bus at about 3:30 and kickoff was at five.
