some of the state stores here carry Gosling's Black Seal and some don't. fortunately, the WSLCB eliminates the guesswork, down to number of bottles in stock. i love the internets.

What is it/why is it special? (Other than a rum. Even I got that.)

the rum? it's a dark rum that's smooth enough that i would drink it straight and it mixes well, but it's cheaper than others. it has a great nose; it also has an adorable seal on the bottle.

the state stores seem to have random stock. now i can walk to one of the stores that sell it. for a while i didn't think it was available here (the Queen Anne store didn't have it) but then i found it in Lake City. now when i hear about some booze i want to try the internet will tell me if WA sells it and which stores.
