Jun. 14th, 2004 09:31 pmC and i are deluged daily with credit card offers. i recently applied for a mortgage (we lost out to someone from SMC, so at least the balance of the building is maintained;) and i'm told we have great credit. i suppose if it was bad we'd see even more.
tired of tearing the damn things up and distributing them among different batches of recycling, we got a little crosscut shredder, which has been part of a peaceful day-ending ritual of destruction.
alas, today American Express thought they would pique my interest with a plastic fake credit card. since i have no children to play with them and don't do a lot of breaking and entering, i wasn't looking for it. the poor shredder is hopelessly clogged with green plastic, and will require a long slim screwdriver and a a great deal of patience to dismantle enough to be useful again.
bastards.
