What has C taught you about being a wife and lover?

on being a wife:
communicate. compromise, communicate some more, compromise again. or maybe that's what we've learned together. i know C can seem quiet and/or passive, but he's strong and tenacious. i'm not easy either. it's constant negotiation of one kind or another.
he's taught me that my appearance is gravy, and that i'm fine the way i am. that's a hard thing for me to internalize (and i think it's hard for most women). he believes it, and it helps me to do the same.
basically, being married rocks, and it's only gotten better with time and experience.

on the lover part:
intensity of emotional connection matters. it's a cliche for a reason.

Can't comment on the marriage part, but the relationship that's now two weeks old is by far the best I've ever had and I'm enjoying the heck out of it.
