The first person to hold the option for this film years ago was Antonio Banderas, who I thought would have been a brilliant fit for Father Sandoz. Brilliant. He could have done every nuance of the character. And he would have been worthy of the total love I have for the character.

And now the project's gone to . . . Brad Pitt. ::sigh::
