a few observations:
boldfeather was right about the HBC Team Canada uniforms. i'm so sorry.- the best way to get into winter sports if you're from a country with no snowfall is to be the child of a diplomat.
- why am i surprised that they make earmuffs that have a band behind the neck like newer headphones?
- Swedish flag mittens! everyone should have something cool on the palms of their mittens.
- i think i only heard one song played during the parade that wasn't in English.
- i love seeing all the former SSRs out there.
- whoa, one Korea.
- could we please stop the Cirque de Soleil-ization of events?
Re: the cirque de Soleil-ization of events
Date: 2006-02-11 07:36 pm (UTC)B) Cirque de Soleil were definitely innovators, and they brought circus arts back into the hive mind, but circus arts go way way back. I'm just getting sick of them getting credit for ideas that have been around since say- Commedia Del Arte.
