i could give a rats' ass about the summer olympics.
the winter olympics is the only series of sporting events i obsess over. i'll spend all day tomorrow in front of the tv. i prefer the sports Americans don't pay much attention to, like skeleton, luge, and curling. (we lost a skeleton guy to vanity. wear a hat, dude.) and i'm guaranteed to get teary watching women's ice hockey. (Title IX was just starting to take real effect when i was in school. i understand that people who are younger than i am don't get why women's team sports are a big deal.)
i really don't care too much who wins as long as they play well. okay. USA, Canada, Germany, and then whoever has the coolest outfits.
