I guess I already know the answer to this, given that ringtones are a multi-billion dollar industry, but does anyone sell a phone that lets you record your own ring sound?

back in the day, you could program them by tapping out a number sequence because the only sound the phone made was the tones assigned to each number on the keypad. i think there's a level of customization available on phones that can do mp3 rings, but then it depends on your carrier and DRM.
i don't even know what kind of file i need for my phone. i just thought the jingle was suitably annoying/catchy.

Basically, I want to make it talk. Bits of movie dialogue would be cool, but also, I think it'd be funny to have a phone that announces "Hey! I'm ringing!"
