So, do you hate all of Woody Allen, or just Annie Hall? I have never enjoyed his work and sometimes I feel very alone in the universe.

i don't like him. i keep trying every now and again, but even Mighty Aphrodite (with the appeal of the greek chorus device) didn't do much for me.

Or if you and C want to join us for evening with a raison d'etre of simply watching one or more of those, c'mon over. (Given your response to Modern Times (http://www.dvdjournal.com/reviews/m/moderntimes.shtml), perhaps starting with some Chaplin shorts might be a way to ease into the latter two.) I've had a hankering to rewatch The Third Man again lately, and Duck Soup or The General are always good for what ails you.

I am pleased that some of my favourite movies are on that list.
Including Shawshank, Silence of the Lambs, Usual Suspects, Monty Python, Das Boot (the director's cut), and Blade Runner (again, the director's cut), Clockwork Orange, just to name a few.
