wow. am i intimidating in some way, or do you just fear the technology? the first time i made a filtered post i was scared to death the wrong person could read it. i'm mostly over it; i'm thinking if i can write it down and it's exposed i should probably tell whoever it is eventually. commiting thoughts to words is a bit of self-therapy for me.

Nah, you're not intimidating, but putting things into words can sometimes make them real, is all. And part of me does relish knowing something nobody else does. Maybe I just don't want to give that up yet.

i think the first part is pretty clear. i considered closing comments so there wouldn't be the little flood of guessing, but in the second part i was trying to replicate this a little. i guess there isn't as much angst out there now as there was then. i've got IP logging off, so i really can't trace anonymous comments.
