Date: 2005-07-28 04:43 am (UTC)we visited the Air & Space museum annex in late 2003; they have the Enterprise there. first of all, unbelievably huge. the leading edge of the one wing was off for testing, and you could see all the layers.
it looks both astonishingly cool and astonishingly Rube Goldberg, especially when it's next to a Blackbird.
