really tasty drinks and ultra-geeky conversation with friends at Chapel.

Dilettante cake while waiting in line for the new Harry Potter (a block long and growing even as we left line, with only one child in sight)

arriving home to find a sleepy C, with a copy of Serenity #1 for me (the Mal cover)

finishing HP 6 in the park, surrounded by lavender full of busy bees, with a cup of Caffe Vita in hand.

any comments on either Serenity 1 or HP 6?

HP 6 didn't do much for me. i think the third book was the best of the series and i hold little hope for 7, but will read on to find out what happens.

Serenity #1 was a good start, and looks to be well worth reading before seeing the film; like Clone Wars, it looks like it will be filling in some blanks you'll want before you go.
