my new favorite playlist is one i made of songs used in car commercials. (bass lines seem to be a common factor in selling vehicles.) i was listening to it on the way to work this morning and caught myself doing a stutter step when the song changed to get in step. stupid band habits die hard. watch Cedar St...i may succumb and have some sort of West Side Story / Singin' in the Rain dance break before too long.

having had bas(s)ically no experience of DnB, i couldn't relate to the specific music he talked about. but as a bass player and a big fan of reggaemusic, i'll always testify in favour of the bass.

Peter Gabriel
of course, in the case of PG, bass means Tony Levin, and it doesn't get much better at the bottom than TLev.

never seen Tony live, tho i've seen him in a PG concert video. i'm currently hoping that, with him back in the active King Crimson membership, they'll your soon and visit wherever i happen to be.

Yesterday at the gym this guy got onto the treadmill next to mine and started running and I started matching HIS step. Which was irritating because he had no idea what he was doing and changed his pace every fifteen seconds. I'd been fine for 25 minutes and a minute and a half after he started I had a stitch in my side.

Is there some way I can BUY this? I mean, without buying each mp3 individually? I'm a luddite or something, but is there some means of you publishing this list as a set and then having it sold at Album price?
