we don't go out on fireworks holidays because dog, so NYE was a quiet evening in where we watched Kesari and cried buckets. Trailer here
it's a bit over the top, but the true story is pretty damn epic. I particularly liked the device of our hero having imaginary conversations with his wife. The obligatory songs and dance numbers are excellent (I consider that a bonus) but if you dig war movies don't let that put you off. We get to know everyone in the garrison as individuals and they're a bunch of sweet humans that you care about so that your heart can get stomped on. C says the guns are correct. The cinematography is great as is the scenery and there are so many beautiful images. it's on Amazon Prime in the US, definitely worth a watch.
