still not sure where this giant bag goes
Jan. 25th, 2021 03:39 pmi bought a pound of kentucky bourbon tea.
on the face of it, this isn't something for me - i don't like lapsang souchong, and often added flavorings taste chemical to my palate. but something about this tea, which i first had as a sample, was deeply appealing to me. drinking it today (with a touch of sweetener and cream) i've put my finger on it - it tastes how pipe tobacco smells.* that's a good association for me (various men in my family or friends of the family) and for C (his father when he was young). tastes like reunions, hugs, and pockets full of candy. no regrets.
*you can see this in the negative reviews, someone actually describes the scent as "dip" (aka chewing tobacco) and is disgusted.

I'm glad you've found a way to get the positives without, you know, the smoke.
