Magic Murder Man
Jan. 1st, 2021 09:39 pmfinally caught up on John Wick tonight (only recently did we agree that home video with lots of cuddles and the ability to pause would allow C to get through the wife and dog death in the first film). I didn't love the third one. the action was brilliant, love Keanu, but the emotional punch has faded away.
i do love beautifully creative violence. i think i have my mother to thank, for introducing me to Tom and Jerry at a tender age and teaching me that it was fine to laugh because it wasn't real (little me was initially horrified). still chewing on that thought.
