Discord video worked better for knitting tonight, though i wasn't knitting - i realized that being home means that i can spin while i chat with my friends, which was pretty nice.

knitta K has been laid off. knitta P is working at an "essential" branch of Game Stop and fulfilling curbside pickup orders. *shakes head*

we got takeout from Matador. it was a taste of better times.

Apparently electronic game playing is up by something like 75% in the US, according to something G read last week. (I don’t have the link or details of how that’s being measured.)

But people can download games, they don’t need to drive out for them.

Ugh.

I'm fine with curbside stuff delivery, and not every system can handle download. I was super pissed when GameStop insisted they were going to stay open even if ordered to close, because their stores are tiny, hot, and make distancing impossible. They did a quick 180 when Best Buy announced curbside only.

It'll be amusing if I need a backup drive. I'll have to take the bus over and just sort of stand there.
