today is my anniversary with C (we got married on the same calendar day we started dating, a few years later). our relationship can now rent a car!

originally this weekend was supposed to be spent at ECCC, and then dinner with philotera tomorrow.

ECCC is postponed, and philotera had to get out of the country immediately if she was going to have any chance of getting home to Svalbard, so our Monday dinner at Capitol Cider was cancelled.

since C had an appointment on Capitol Hill today, i said hey, why don't i meet you at Capitol Cider? we had a lovely minimal contact meal and a nice walk in the last of the sun.

turns out that will be our last meal out for the next... i don't know how long yet, just that the official Washington closure announcement is tomorrow morning. probably the last bus ride and the last trip out of the neighborhood too.

Congrats! Not the sort of celebratory environment one could have hoped for, but the togetherness can seem all the more special at times like these.

Happy belated anniversary! My minimal contact dinner in Leschi with our mutual friend was my last dinner out.

I'm now pretty much in for the duration, which will make for a very quiet birthday next week but hopefully a healthy one. Once this passes, we will celebrate many, many things.
