7/366 we'll call it an adventure

today i basically impulse-bought a UW extension class that starts in two weeks.* i chose it specifically because it was starting soon and was in-person. it's being held at their Othello satellite rather than downtown where they usually do extension classes, and that's going to be interesting.

it's conveniently next to the light rail station! unfortunately, the light rail will be broken into two lines with a forced transfer at Pioneer Square the entire time. it's also on Tuesday, which is lunchtime yoga day (and i just paid for the next few months) so i'll be toting my sweaty yoga clothes in addition to my laptop.

*at least i think i did? the university's slightly antique online form says that signing up doesn't guarantee that there's a spot for me. i'm like, you should know how many people have signed up. but okay. i actually had to copy down my confirmation number because they don't send you an email.

Intro to Python, which is also very impulsive of me since I just told my boss earlier today that I was going to be working on my Java skills next.

Python is such a great tool. I never learned it but I was rescued by someone who knew it years ago. The elegance and flexibility impressed me.
