so, there's this train wreck going on with some tool getting a trademark on "cocky". which led me to see if Smart Bitches Trashy Books had anything to say about it. (not at the time I looked.) but there was a post about library resources.

YOU GUYS, THERE'S THIS THING CALLED HOOPLA

My library lets me check out 20 comics collections a month, no waiting for holds. this is the companion to Marvel Unlimited that I hoped the Comixology subscription would be. now I just need to not burn through them all in a few days.

Oh hey, my library has it too! No more spending $10 per comic trade or quizzing my friends to see if any of them have it. Thanks!

Hoopla is great! And yes, I do burn thru the comics pretty quickly, then forget about them again for a few months :P
