Oct. 9th, 2003 07:19 pmI seared steak for dinner tonight, carefully following the Alton Brown method. Set off the smoke alarm, and have probably scented the week's clean laundry, but damn, I never knew salt and pepper and a really hot skillet could make such magic. I love meat....and the weather and the waxing moon are intoxicating. I feel like something big is about to happen.
