MST3K on Netflix. Two episodes in, it's better than it has any right to be.
what did you recently finish?
I haven't finished anything per se. but as was foretold, I was able to watch a new Doctor Who episode called "The Pilot", which I largely enjoyed, and the pilot for Class, which was underbaked and someone with more time on their hands can tell me later on if I should try again. new companion Bill is fab, and I continue to love Peter Capaldi as the Doctor in spite of feeling generally meh about his stories.
What will you consume next?
i'm several episodes behind on Agents of SHIELD, looking forward to alt-universe shenanigans.

Date: 2017-04-18 10:31 am (UTC)The tipping point for me was episode 4, so if you decide you're willing to give it a little more time, I'd say that's where it's safe to give up if it still isn't doing anything for you.

I am way behind on SHIELD. The last ep I saw, we just found out May was a robot now, and I think I decided my shipper heart couldn't take it at the moment. And now Doctor Who is on, so I"m not sure when I'll get back . . . But I will eventually! Alt-universe shenanigans sound fun.

Date: 2017-04-18 10:18 pm (UTC)thanks for giving me a measurement on Class- i feel like Agents of SHIELD is that way almost every season, but most especially the first one, where things didn't really start cooking until the timeline approached The Winter Soldier. i never got into Sarah Jane Adventures and found most of Torchwood underwhelming (except Children of Earth) so i wasn't expecting anything from Class, i just happened to be in front of a television that was showing it.
the AoS three-arc structure this year has been pretty neat, except for the part where i really didn't care about the Ghost Rider section. i'm hoping that gets folded back in somehow so that it feels more valuable in retrospect.
