ironymaideni have two concert performances left. my health is dicey, but i'm trying to stay game. my attempts at napping this afternoon failed miserably.
i had a great breakfast today at Vera's. i think it's been my first complete meal in a few days, and it sat well. i had french toast covered in blueberries and whipped cream, and i didn't clean my plate, but i wanted to. whew.
after i left C in Ballard, i had to stop for a bridge opening. the guy in the first car in line got out and stood in the empty leftward lanes to watch the ship pass. sure, i'll turn off the car, but it hadn't crossed my mind to get out and see what was going on. while he was casual enough about the wait, he was off across the deck as soon as the plates were horizontal, running the red light.
