Supreme Court meme

via multiple folks, (this version of the text from
varina8):
In an upcoming interview with Katie Couric to be aired this week, Sarah Palin is unable to name any Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade. (Addendum by Miss M: It was any case that she disagreed with, but still. She couldn't think of Dred Scott? And she - or her staff - issued a press release disagreeing with a recent decision.)
The Rules: Post info about ONE Supreme Court decision, modern or historic, to your lj. (Any decision, as long as it's not Roe v. Wade.)
Note to Non-U.S. Peeps: It should be noted that, in fairness to the American electorate, most Americans can name more than one U.S. Supreme Court case off the top of their heads. So, the fact that Palin can only name one is simply appalling.
a relatively recent favorite: Lawrence v. Texas. Petitioners’ right to liberty under the Due Process Clause gives them the full right to engage in private conduct without government intervention. consensual sex between adults in the privacy of their own home is none of the government's business.
