Ripper, and the quotable C

C and i had our eyes checked today and ordered new glasses. oddly enough, my left eye has decided to deviate severely from my right, and the doctor says that that one would be happy to have the glasses on all the time, but the right one would not. the exam included the phrase "mmmm, you're a little young for bifocals." sigh.

C's prescription has changed very little, but he's really due for a new pair. he put on a set that are smaller than the current ones. i found their appearance to be very Rupert Giles. he tried on some other things and then i asked him to put them on again and take his hair down. he tried a few others.

J-could you try the Giles ones again? they're really hot.
C-Giles isn't supposed to be the love interest, he's the father figure.
J-you know how i feel about professor types.
C-Angel is supposed to be the love interest.
J-Angel is a pussy.
C-okay, what about Riley, or Spike?
J-ugh, Riley is all cornfed, and Spike doesn't wear glasses. please?

my favorite moment of the day however, was in the car as we did some exploring on the north slope of Queen Anne, where we unintentionally looped through the same block a few times.

J- i think that's the second time we've passed Matt and Lisa's house. it's like we're stalking him.
C- he's not my favorite author, but he is the closest. it's the stalking of convenience.

Spike may not wear glasses, but William does, little sexy Giles-ish wire rims, too.
