because it should be said

interactions between eljay and Facebook flow in one direction: people who interact regularly with
ironymaiden are likely welcome to know me on FB (where my public persona's only real obsession is the Sounders); people who know me on FB should only know
ironymaiden through invitation. please don't share my content to FB or Twitter. if i wanted to share info there, i would. (actually, i don't mind if at some point i write a public post worth linking to as a webpage, but i very much mind connecting my real name/facebook persona to this space. insert threat of violence and/or humiliation here.)
also, as a PSA: i have never been the only ironymaiden on the internet. for example, i do not have a journalfen account or write fanfic. i do have a rarely-used Twitter account, but ironymaiden is not my username.

RAMBLING
Date: 2010-09-01 05:55 pm (UTC)Someone once commented something about BM sucking on a "man, work is annoying today!" post, but I was able to delete it right away. Then someone called Betty, Betty, on a picture of her. This would normally be fine, but Betty's name isn't really Betty. I change some of the names of people I talk about ...especially when I am venting about that person. (When I first met Betty, I found her to be INSANE. And wrote about it.) Betty is really Holly. So she was entirely confused as to why someone commented "Yay Betty! She is so pretty!" on FB.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
