Washington voters: once more, with feeling

if you are a registered voter in Washington state, the caucus on Saturday decides ALL (Democratic) or 51% (Republican) of the delegates to the national party conventions. if you want a say in the nominating process, the caucus matters more than the state primary, and you must declare a party affiliation to have a say at all.

if you would like to choose the Republican candidate, you should participate in the caucus this Saturday AND the primary on February 19th.

if you would like to choose the Democratic candidate, you should participate in the caucus only. the primary vote assigns zero Democratic delegates.

here is an article with some explanation. yes, it's messed up and a waste of money. don't let it disenfranchise you.

here is where to find your caucus location: Republican Party, Democratic Party.

Washington caucuses are held somewhere near home (but probably not your usual polling place) at 1pm this Saturday.

It is wasteful. And I won't let it disenfranchise me. But the {insert swearing here}-tards who support this asinine system should be strung up by their genitals from the tallest tree in town for crow food.

HATE.
