office, originally uploaded by green eyed so and so.

i'm sitting in the middle window of the building in the center, drinking cocoa with C beside me. it's rainy today, but it's grand to sit in the hot tub and look out over the water while rain patters on the roof.

Niiice. Glad you two having such a gobsmackingly lovely vacation.

(If you ever get the chance, try outdoor hot-tubbing while it's snowing. The snow vanishes on an invisible dome over your head.)

It took me absurdly long to search through old LJ entries and recall whether that was or was not the place we stayed back in 2005. Part of the problem was that I couldn't remember exactly what year it was-- I'm told this gets worse with age and advanced degrees. But, yes, that is, in fact Doe Bay: We Have a HOT TUB. Beautiful place, though.

Or, you know, you could have saved time and simply asked. *grin*

BTW, P brought over your wedding gift last weekend. . . it's lovely. The colors are perfect (in my eyes, anyhow!). Thank you so much *hug*. (Is that really a teeny computer chip peeking out from behind the knotwork?)

But if I'd asked, I'd hardly be procrastinating effectively, now, would I?

Glad you like the colours-- is the matting OK, or do you want it redone? And, yes, that's a computer chip. There are many other small and strange things hidden there, as well, and I meant to write a list to go with the card, but you know how those things work. (Tell [livejournal.com profile] samildanach that the putti hidden here and there came off of a reproduction of a c. 1600 Polish map of the moon. I thought the history might be appreciated.)

Enjoy it!
