You know, I never saw the holiday special. Although by all accounts it's worth a viewing now for its serious retro-kitsch-OMG! factor. Wonder how it plays with a Pink Floyd soundtrack....
as far as i know, Star Wars was my first film in the theater. i know you meant 4, although i would have worn droids footy pajamas at 14 if they had 'em.

We lived in the boonies, and a movie in town was a rare treat and a logistical feat.
I've often thought about whether SW turned me into the big geek I am now. I remember being entranced by Space:1999 long before I saw Wars, though, so maybe it was genetic.
