Turkish film about some dudes trying to announce a coup on the radio. the trailer made it look much funnier than it is. many fine moments but mostly it's waiting. so much waiting. should have let myself nap.

Fly Rocket Fly

the improbable true story of a German private rocket company in the 1970s. they made a deal with Mobutu and built a launch site on a plateau in Zaire. it was great, although I would have liked to hear from the Africans - all the talking heads were European and American. ultimately they were terribly naive. recommended.
