The Great British Bake Off series 9 and Doctor Who are making me pretty happy.* the series 9 bakers are all great; i have a top two but would be fine with whoever from this point on. i have most of my gaming group hooked on GBBO now, which delights me.
so far i approve of the new Doctor but am leery of [redacted] becoming the big bad for the season and also the next episode includes Rosa Parks and every part of me is clenched in anticipation of all the ways it could go wrong.
Friday was the premiere of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and it remains excellent. (still looking for other CxG fans to talk about spoiler things. i know they exist because we sold out The Moore a few months ago.) watching a TV show with a defined end on its way is pretty wonderful.
what did you recently finish?
nothing. other than the above i haven't been consistently watching anything recently.
what will you consume next?
Monty Python's Flying Circus is on Netflix in the US! i have vague memories of it when it was late-night fare on PBS and my brothers were letting me get away with staying up late, but not a lot of adult memories of it. looking forward to seeing what i think now.
I also need to get caught up on The Good Place. i watched the premiere and then haven't gotten back to watch more, not because it was bad but because i just haven't scheduled it.
