destroying Seoul
Jan. 15th, 2018 02:02 pmI finally watched Colossal.
I feel shaken. It's good. Maybe it's great, I need to digest.
But seriously how the hell did someone decide to market it as a comedy? I get that it's hard to classify and that part of what makes it work is not knowing what's happening, but come on. How hard is it to say that it's Magical Realism about a woman who hits bottom and has to confront her past?
Anyhoo, not quite what I was looking for in something to watch while repairing a hole in my jeans, but recommended if you would like to see a dark story creatively told.
